For the A to Z challenge today the letter is ‘E’ and I’m going to post on Episode 2 of the Megapods which was just released.
If you haven’t heard yet I have been co-hosting a Podcast with illustrator and artist Rich Cote and sound engineer and video game expert Scott Bidwell. The podcast talks about everything Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy and Technology. We have exciting celebrity guests and try to be funny. It’s a variety show by geeks for geeks.
In episode 2 we start off by talking about our own personal fears. The we cover all the latest in News from the above genres. We talk about the new TMNT movie, the new Prometheus movie and some upcoming games and technology. After the News we have our interview. On this episode we talk with actor Dru Viergever who has been in some really cool horror flicks. He played the Feral Leader (pictured above) in “The Colony” with Laurence Fishburne and Bill Paxton, He’s been in three different features with Christopher Lloyd and he was the Soldier zombie in George Romero’s “Survival of the Dead.” We try and leave no subject unbreached.
After Dru we have the artist spotlight. The artist spotlight is a segment where we highlight a musician, author, artist or filmmaker who is trying to make in the rough and tumble entertainment industry. Then we get a little silly with a segment called “Calls of the Third Kind” for this episode Walmart finds out all they ever wanted to know about certain Sci-Fi objects. Scott then takes the reigns for his game interview of the new South Park game and we wrap it up with the Geek Out where we use the virtual reality headset “The Oculus Rift”
